Last year's students identified the class activities and self helps that increased their learning of Spanish. Consider using these tips at home or during class!

1. Biggest help--Really listened when Spanish is spoken

2. Studied for tests and/or quizzes

3. Did homework

4. Actively participated in our competitions

5. Repetition and/or reviewing in class helped

6. Used 2 column notes and Apuntes Azules often

7. Created and used flashcards

8. Actively participated in partner activities

9. Learned from Reader's Theater practice

10. Spoke Spanish outside the classroom at home or with friends

11. Used the internet websites recommended on this webpage

¡UNO! Complete all assignments to reinforce and practice classroom learning. ¡DOS! Make positive class participation really count because listening and paying attention lead to success! Plus it is an easy way to raise your grade. ¡TRES! Remember that you will not always understand every word. Instead the best students strive to comprehend the most important words--the key words--during instruction. ¡CUATRO! Save all assignments, tests, quizzes, or projects that have been graded and returned in a folder used for Spanish class only.
