What will you learn 1st Semester?
The first few days of class we will spend some time getting to know everyone's new Spanish names. You will acquire
a "new" identity, and you'll "become" someone from a Spanish-speaking country. Throughout the first
semester you will learn to talk about yourself and describe others in Spanish. The good news is that you will have lots
of opportunities to speak Spanish with classmates. We will travel to at least two different locations
in Mexico. As we journey, we will compare Mexican schools with Northview. Mexico has some great markets and malls for
shopping. We will learn about bartering at the market and practice using pesos to purchase clothing and school supplies.
